It is suitable for VW T4/T5/T6 vans with tailgate or barn doors alike and allows continuous access of fresh air in the cabin even when the van is locked or unattended. With the help of this essential gadget you can leave your pets locked in, sleep peacefully through the night counting on safe ventilation. Moreover, the standoff is portable and lightweight (10 x 3.4 x 3 cm) and it is very easy to apply or remove. With this standoff you can close the tailgate up to a ventilation gap and lock it if required. It should not be possible to open the tailgate from the outside when locked. This standoff is not suitable for vehicles with a power tailgate.

For barn door van owners: Please note that the door can be unlatched from outside, while it is not possible to open the right door fully. It is due to the design of the barn doors latch.
