Refund and Returns Policy
Our Refund and Returns Policy is specified below in multiple sections.
Section 1 – Returns:
Terms and conditions for an acceptable return/replacement request:
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
- You should return the item in the original packaging.
- The deadline for a return with a full refund or replacement option is 30 days since the purchase date.
- The return of some products (like mattress protector and mattress topper) is due to hygienic reasons only possible if the products have not been used.
- To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
- We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
Non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Discounted items
- Items with signs of use
- Damaged items
Section 2 – Refund:
Refund/Replacement process:
- The return requests should be sent within 30 days from the date of purchase.
- The product should be sent back within 7 days after the return request has been made via tracked service. Tracking number should be provided.
- The return feed should be met by the customer.
- After we have received the returned item, we would inspect the goods to confirm if the product shows signs of use or damage. The inspection can take up to 5 business days.
- We are going to notify the customer once we have made a decision if we accept the return or reject it.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Terms and conditions for a full refund/replacement:
- Full refund:
- The refund can take up to 7 business days following approval.
- We will credit the amount to your credit card or the original method of payment.
- Replacement:
- If a replacement has been agreed, a replacement item will be sent within 7 days following approval via tracked service.
- The seller pays the shipping fee.
- The delivery may vary depending on your shipping address and may take up to 10 business days.
Terms and conditions for a partial refund:
For a partial refund qualify items as follows:
- Any item not in its original condition.
- Items showing signs of use or minor blemishes.
- Any items with production defect reported after 30 days of purchase.
Non-refundable items:
- Items with missing parts.
- Damaged items.
- Any items reported after 30 days of purchase.
Refunds not being received:
- If you haven’t received an agreed refund, please check with your bank first.
- If you have paid with third party – Amazon Pay, Google Pay, Paypal, credit card etc. – please check with them.
- Once you have done these checks and solution has not been reached, please contact us at info@steefree.eu or via our contact form.
Section 3 – Special cases:
Gifts
- If an item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once we receive the returned item, we will e-mail you a gift certificate.
- If an item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and he will find out about your return.
Sale Items:
- If you bought a product on a sale price, an eventual refund in the future will refer to the discounted price and not to the regular price of the product.

- If we pay the shipping fee for a return, we are going to deduct the amount from the agreed refund amount.
- We strongly recommend buying an insurance when returning an item to us.
- If you ship via an untracked service, it is not guaranteed that we will receive your returned item. In a case when we have not received the returned item, we would be unable to issue a refund or replace the item.
